Saniel is the Portfolio Manager of the Mirae Asset Asia Pacific Health Care Opportunities Equity Fund and Mirae Asset India Mid Cap Equity Fund. He is also the Co-Portfolio Manager of the Mirae Asset India Sector Equity Fund. In addition, he manages the firm’s India Infrastructure fund. Saniel is responsible for research analysis covering the regional Health Care, Energy and Utilities sectors.

Saniel began his career with KPMG (BSR and Co., India) in 2005 as Senior Auditor. He then worked at Morgan Stanley Mumbai from 2007 to 2014 as Equity Research Associate. He was a key member of the team covering the Indian Pharmaceutical sector. The team won the Second Place Prize in the Institutional Investors Survey in two consecutive years (2012 and 2013). He joined Mirae Asset in 2014 to anchor coverage of the Asia regional Health Care sector. He currently covers Health Care, Energy & Utilities sectors.

Saniel holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Commerce from the University of Mumbai in India and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He speaks English and Hindi.
